What is Wrong When Areas of my Lawn are Bluish Colored?
Blue-gray areas in a lawn are signs of water stress. Often times people assume that when their sprinkler is turned on all areas of the lawn are receiving adequate water. A simple way to test for this is to place like-sided containers through both the bluish colored areas and another green area. Water for 10-15 minutes, then measure both containers. If the dray area is not getting the same amount of water, adjust the sprinkler heads accordingly.
